We deployed a team of over 1,300 security officers and stewards across Buckingham Palace and surrounding areas including Westminster Abbey, The Mall, St James’ Park, Green Park, and Hyde Park. During this time, over 3,000 shifts were undertaken over the 10-day mourning period, and the result was a seamless and highly professional service given the short turnaround times we were working with.
