Meet the team: Lhorie

If you work with us, chances are you will have spoken to Lhorie. She joined the McKenzie Arnold Group (MAG) in June last year as our HR and Compliance Manager. Her role in the office is so important to us – she makes sure that we get the right people for the right jobs that we have going throughout the year.
Lhorie joined us just as things were starting to kick-off in preparation for the Notting Hill Carnival – our biggest job of the year. We are talking about the successful recruitment of 800+ stewards and security staff for the event! Her experience and expertise were key to ensuring that we pulled it all off.

-Lhorie used to be a Residential Care Manager
-She was born in “The Pearl of The Orient Seas”, also known as the Philippines, but she is proud to now be living in Britain’s oldest recorded town, Colchester.
-She is a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and in her own words, ‘a bit loopy’. (She says loopy, we say fun!)
-In her spare time, she loves going for a run, but keeps the balance by eating cake for breakfast.

Lhorie is one of our main ladies in the office and seems to know where everything is. She is also our savior ready to pick us up with some doughnuts, or cheese biscuits on a busy Monday morning.
